"Lion Heart"
I recently said goodbye to one of my dearest friends, Jordy Thomson. She courageously battled Ovarian Cancer for 6 months, and in the process, became an ambassador for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation.
In honor of Jordy's memory and her unwavering love and lion-hearted determination, I wish to dedicate this painting to her. She was passionate about raising awareness among women and generating the funds necessary to support early detection and research towards a cure for this devastating disease.
As a tribute to her legacy, 100% of the proceeds from the sale of "Lion Heart" will be donated to OCRF.
"Lion Heart" Tattoo Design
My "Lion Heart" original painting was used as inspiration for a tattoo design (pictured) which Jordy had planned to have done once she had finished cancer treatment to symbolize her strength and fearless spirit.
